The South Dakota Players
Founded in 2022, South Dakota Players Fastpitch Softball is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to developing athletes both on and off the field. Our mission goes beyond athletic performance—we are committed to shaping confident, capable, and character-driven young women.
Our experienced coaches and instructors prioritize not only skill development but also the growth of leadership, confidence, work ethic, and teamwork. We believe in coaching great individuals first—and great softball players second.
As an elite “A” level program, South Dakota Players teams compete at the highest level, traveling regionally and nationally to face top-tier competition and participate in premier tournaments.

The South Dakota Braves
In 2024, the South Dakota Braves proudly joined the South Dakota Players family as part of our continued commitment to growing the game of fastpitch softball across the region. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Braves offer a competitive, values-driven environment for athletes to grow both on and off the field.
Competing at the “B” level, the Braves participate in local leagues and tournaments that challenge athletes while fostering development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. We believe fastpitch softball is more than a game—it’s a powerful tool for teaching young athletes how to work hard, manage their time, lead with integrity, and live a healthy, active lifestyle.
The Braves are a great option for athletes who enjoy playing multiple sports and/or have several other activities that they are involved with.
